How I learned to paint…
 Clae F Tanett
It all began when I was a Junior in High School… my parents sent me to the school psych; “He’s a troubled child!â€â€¦ …Duhhh, my parents were the head of a dysfunctional family with my one and only sibling who tried to kill me about three times; the first when I was nine months old, my first twelve stiches... So they sent me to the school psych who started doing his ‘tests’. He gave me the ‘questions’ and I put down something [ yeah yeah… what ever]; then he gave me a piece of paper with three circles on it and said, “Draw this.â€. I looked at the simple circles took a piece of paper and in less then thirty seconds drew them [yeah yeah whoopee…big deal] and gave it to the psych.       I sat there waiting for the next [stupid] question. I sat there and I sat there and thought, “It sure is taking a long time…â€; so I looked at him. He was looking back and forth that the two pieces of paper with the most incredulous look on his face; they looked the same.   He looked at me and asked, “Did you ever think of being an artist?â€â€¦ Oh boy! The first time anyone ever said anything of maybe what I could do or be!! So I signed for art to start my Senior year, “Oh Boy!!†came into the class, the teacher walked over to me and said, “I can’t help you, your better than I am.†[oh boy, my first art class… and it’s over…] Thanks to the school psych I started my long self-taught art career; for every class I took was the same, “You’re talking Greek to us; we don’t understand a thing you’re saying.â€

Out of our element are we? I think it's appropriately, the right time of year to show us, just how far out, we humans really are. and to think; time is part of that curse, as well. In remembrance of Him my good friend, in the deepest felt way. Excellent!
