Hi, my name is Kim. My husband, Frank (ddaydreams) and I live in the Eastern Sierras, California, USA. We started out working with graphic programs like CoralDraw and Bryce. Mostly with digital artwork. I enjoyed making fractals and incorporating them with other programs, then I started adding artwork to some old photos I had. I use to be more into photography years ago, but never had the money (or time) to pursue it for more then a casual hobby. When the digital cameras became a little more affordable and we saw the ease of use and the things we could accomplish with our graphics programs...... well there you have it! One day Frank said "you ought to post one of your pictures at Renderosity" and the rest is history! Now we have artwork and photos in local galleries, a couple calendars out there, and we are even thinking about publishing a book!
And I have to give most of the credit to all the wonderful friends I have met right here on Renderosity!!!! Everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!!!
Thank you for viewing my gallery and check back often to see what progress we are making.

LOL!!!! Flip-flops??? LMAO!!!! WOOOOOW KIM!!! That is sooooooo beautiful!!! What an interesting composition with that dark, almost painted foreground and then that bright and beautiful background. Really a wonderful photo!!!! I do have to agree with Ray though....that frame is kinda distracting. Would probably have looked better if you turned that into B/W instead of that inverted color-look. YAY FOR NEW COMP!!! Maybe then well have the pleasure of seeing more of you. Im sure more people than me misses your enthusiasm and humor. Have a lovely day!!!! #:O)

Keep resisting but be aware not to let freeze anything! :) Beautiful work although the frameborder is a bit too think IMHO. Gorgeous capture and original framing anyway!

Hi Kim! Awesome shot, I love the composition! I have mixed feelings about the frame, because it is obtrusive, yet daring, and creative! Hope to have you back soon! 8-)

What an awesome shot! Its truly beautiful!Personally I would like this pic with no border at all but I really like how the border looks so I'm guessing that's why you went with it.Maybe you could do this pic in another version doing that same technique because the colors and contrast in the border are/is just wonderful.Hope you don't mind my 2 cents. It's just that this pic is soooo out-standing.I envy you your access to such topography!-M :)

Excellent work on this picture Kim!! I know how much time you spent on the frame too...I love frames that draw you into the pic which I think this one does. Just my opinion though..lol Congrats on the new PC!!! Wow that's exciting news eh?? Have a great week! V

Amazing scenery again...the foreground rock outcrop and background rock face/cliff provide xlt depth to this image.
