Description

I wanted to create an image that conveyed loneliness, isolation and silence. Here, the Empress of a vast nation stands in her hall, a chamber so majestic that the light barely reaches across. Although she commands great armies and thousands of servants are at her beck and call, she has no-one she can call "friend" ....
