Just shows that being familiar with locations in your own area is important. Thanks for the reminder for me to visit my local lake early this week.

Andreas my sweet, ur landscapes are always such a delight!!! And this one is no exception!! I think the saturation of the bushes is actually spot on here, adding that beautiful and intense extra colorful touch. Superb compo, superb shot yes!!!

the lighting is incredible, Andreas! and those colors....oooooh, i LOVE 'em!!! Was the sky really purple like this? i'll bet it was! i love the gradient in the sky...and the stars...icing on the cake!!! the lighting on the trees is amazing! i love it!!! the red bushes on the right...just a bit oversaturated for my preference. I love the way this is composed and the extraordinary lighting!!!! You did a helluva job, Andreas!!! very beautiful!!!

You know the two things I really like about this image? Firstly, it's the gradiated sky going from pale blue to a deeper shade and beyond that are the stars...whether they're real or not doesn't matter...it's a calming and peaceful scene. And thanx for the IM's today...much appreciated.
