Description

This is the Bryce version of an image that I made in Vue. Posting the Vue version tomorrow, in Vue. I wanted to see if I could do it and what things were better and worse between the two programs. And what did I conclude.... I don't know. Just trying to match angles, lighting and camera views was difficult enough. I know tons more about Bryce than I do with Vue. Give me a few years with Vue and I might know more to do a fair comparison. Working with and creating mats goes to Bryce, lighting and atmosphere goes to Vue and when using trees and foliage, it's easily Vue. Building non-landscape scenes- Bryce. *** boat by transpond, cavern pieces made in ZBrush. I touched up both images in postwork. If you have a dark monitor, not much will show up. Sorry

A tremendous feeling of underground space! (To other viewers, if you have a dark monitor try looking at the picture in the dark - you may just get enough detail) :)

Cool cave! I like the atmosphere in this one. The rock layers came out pretty well, even in the dim light. Nicely done!

Challenging piece, I continue to bow to your details Dave. Super stuff I have Vue, I am lost in it. I have had Bryce since it's conception, I am still lost in it....thank goodness for the artists, or I would have no idea the capability of either program...ehehe... =)
