BIO
I went to Edinburgh College of Art in the seventies. I wove tapestries for years and paint in oils. I like photography, learning classical guitar and lacemaking. I enjoy cycling, walking, reading, films.

excellent, reminds me of the story of G.B. Shaw discussing personal morality with a society lady. She was shocked when he suggested she sleep with him for 1. She hesitated, however, when he increased his offer to 1million, leading him to conclude that everything is only a question of price ;-))

You raised a wry smile, by this cartoon, Rozanne, as the high winds and rain buffet my old flat. The old cigarette factory next door has hundreds ( maybe thousands next month with DELL computers moving in ) of young people working in call-centres, a high-tech gym, art galleries, and of course no parking spaces. They all seem so worried all the time, always in a hurry, and for folk whose money is made in the communication industry, they seem so very difficult to understand. I suppose we were the same at their age. Regards, John.
