Description
I converted this shot to Mono so that I could print it on silver foil (just to be different) and thought I would share it

'converted to mono' ... okay, now THIS I gotta know! What a BEAUTIFUL FINISH to this portrait!!! Sooooo soft !!! (She looks so sad though ... :-( ) any inside tips on how you do a conversion to mono? :)

Thank you all. Shari, there are a few ways to convert to B/W in Photoshop. You just 'desaturate' or change the 'mode' to greyscale or Lab colour (then going to 'layers' and discarding A &B). Other ways are playing about with the 'channel mixer', or just going to the 'layers' palette and choosing which channel looks best. Roy
