Description


Ellingen Residence (Germany) From 1216 to 1789 the seat of the commanders of the Teutonic Order in Franconia, Ellingen fell to Bavaria in 1806 and was presented by King Max I to his field marshal Prince von Wrede. At the beginning of the 18th century a new palace was built in the Baroque style, which was remodelled in the early neoclassical style from 1774.
