Ellingen Residence (Germany)
From 1216 to 1789 the seat of the commanders of the Teutonic Order in Franconia, Ellingen fell to Bavaria in 1806 and was presented by King Max I to his field marshal Prince von Wrede.
At the beginning of the 18th century a new palace was built in the Baroque style, which was remodelled in the early neoclassical style from 1774.
