i was there before it blew ..road trip with family back in 1979 .. it was Sunday we were driving my Mom wanted us to sing church songs cause it was sunday . my sis and i were teens and folded our arms and wouldnt sing. She said if you dont sing to God on a sunday the rocks will cry out .. lol soon after this vocano errupted i always felt guilty as a teen about it ..hehe.. beautifully shot!

Impressive capture of this mountain that has lost it's head. Impresisve story of Kimmers, never made that association of rocks crying out! :) Incredible powers in nature!

A wonderful view, but I'm staying well away for a while. The images of the last explosion make me careful considering the current growth of the dome. Love the shot, though!

Lovely to see the trees grown back. Everything was grey last time I saw a shot of it. I remember the morning she erupted very well.. even though I was a couple of hundred miles away, the ash was falling at our campsite. At first I thought it was snow!
