Description

After the wet day yesterday it's great to find a new opportunity for a new hike. I plot a course on the map and drive to the location on a very curvy road (I'm always excited whether I will able to reach my destination) until I reach the point from where I want to start my hike, the valley called Ginals. The weather seems good although overcast, and soon I am walking in the clouds at only 1709 m (5607 ft). The rivulet with the rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium) in front of it attracts my attention. I am glad to have a tripod because the light-conditions make it not easy to shoot by hand. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

The flowers in the foreground are gorgeous peeking through the mist. Were the stream any steeper, it would be a waterfall! You found a truly beautiful spot and came away with an amazing capture.
