These little Kolea's are quite fast and don't let you get too close, always ready to fly. Very nice shot of this fast bird! Aloha~

It really does look like a little dreamy birdie - looking out over the sea .. thinking .. where to go next :) .. Wonderful shot ! Even it is from the backside .. you did catch it with its head turned sidewards .. so we do get a glimpse of this birdies personality :):) Excellent Photo :))

Stunning color and clarity on this shot. I think showing off the beautiful coat is even better in this case. Love the blur of the background too - terrific color and it sets the bird off so well. Terrific photography! V

What do birds dream of...a very good question. The sea, juicy fish, soaring amongst the clouds... A lovely photo no matter what side of the bird you shot. :)

Perhaps he's just camera shy. Try putting a fish on your head, that should get his attention. LOL. Actually, I think this is a great pose, beautiful coloring on this lovely birdie.

LOL @ Tedz!!!!! This bird has really cool looking feathers, don't worry they'll turn your way. Just make a little squeekie noise before you shoot and they'll turn around, LOL!!!!!

Patience Errol, you WILL succeed, patience is always paying off some time and then you'll show us proudly your results. And for this one, even looking the other way, it's adding depth, birdie looking into dreamy endless horizons over the ocean! Excellent work, I love it!
