Hi all and welcome to my little spot in South Africa. A bit about me - I'm a single mom of two naughty but gorgeous teenage children who keep me active well after dark (trying to avoid the obstacles they leave on the floor all over the house :o) Life has thrown me a few interesting curves and angles and I'm still trying to make head or tale (yes, tale!) of which direction I'm meant to be going in. I am a poet and writer by nature and I dabble in a bit of photography on the side. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my home at Renderosity. Hugs all!
BIO
I am a South African single mom of two mischievous children who loves life and thinks that having a positive attitude and love are the best gifts you can give the universe. If there is a challenge, bring it on. If you have a problem to solve, I am here. If you need a shoulder to soak, I wear soft padded jackets. lol I am a full time employee who dabbles a bit in poetry, writing short stories and loves to mess around with Terragen and my camera. To all who dropped in to see who I am - welcome and thanks for stopping by.. Hugs to you all.
UPDATE:
Teens NO MORE!!! Now a naughty grandmother who leads her grandson astray on a regular basis :D

Ok, there may be a little confusion as to why I chose the ending I did. Basically in the poem, I took time to stand still and appreciate all that was around me. Instead of looking far ahead to an unknown future I lived for the moment and in doing so I found my destiny. She could have been an angel or your soulmate. That interpretation I leave to you. Hugs, Sue

Many of us have taken the time to stand still and yet so many need to yet. I love the way you wrote this.

I too enjoyed this read as it began somewhat predictable then easily it drifted delightfully into mystery. Again my mind traveled (as I read) watching silently upon where I experienced all...there in the moments with you. "EXCELLENT WRITING"

Wow!! I love this...... it draws such a clear picture, but leaves so much open for me to apply to my own life. And the ending.... makes me think of that person who sooths and calms, when life becomes a bit too much. Awesome work...
