Welcome to Cambrian Moons on Renderosity, the second home for my artwork and stories. I've been creating pictures since 2000. I started with Bryce and Truespace, before moving to Vue, Poser 6 and Hexagon in 2005.
Since 2010, I have been using Cinema 4D, Poser 9 and Interposer Pro for modelling and scene rendering.
My number one subject has always been science fiction with influences from Jim Burns, Chris Moore and Fred Gambino.
Images from 2004 onwards are part of an evolving storyline.

Hey, Mark, I was glad to find this image from you. I always enjoy your traveller stuff. Great image continuing the saga of your characters. I am so intrigued to find out what is going on with our captain. Keep posting. I love the story and the great images you are doing to illustrate it. Nice job on this one! I look forward to the next. Blessings!

Wow. Fantastic render. Everything meshes together so well to create that air of realism. The terrain, the figure, the ship, they're all consistent. Beautiful work.

Mr. Hirst, You keep me in awe with this stuff. Rhand and her crews situation has become apart of my normal enjoyments like eating, boozing, loafing and @*#$! LOL! As alwasy, great job! VOTE You need your own TV show for this stuff.

Your stuff is just amazing !!! Any tips for a newbie ?

Very nice work. Watch out for the shadows. . .that sharp shadow makes the background ship look small. Big things cast soft shadows
2ni
great composition, but perhaps there is a scale problem between the mountain and the ship ?
