We do this so often and not only to ourselves. We become 'insensitive' to those close to us as well. We see them daily yet not really look. Very well written!

Just another superbly written work!! Your last few pieces have shown your ability to assess your situation quite well. Try talking to 'you' the next time you look in that mirror. I do. However, I usually get into an argument with the idiot in the mirror. And, believe it or not, I almost always also end up losing said argument. WINK. Sigh. T.P.
