Ultra Fractal 4.01 A candle burns for the one who waits for the one who will never return. Its dim illumination neither warms the heart nor comforts the soul.

Another stunning composite. I especially like the wax drippings. Believe it or not, there is positive in every seemingly negative event, and if you let the pain pass through you without judging it or indulging in it that positivity will become clearer. It may not be at all what you imagine, in fact I can guarantee that it is not. As you yourself must be thinking on some level, it is better to light that proverbial single candle than to curse the darkness.

I still wonder at how you do these images in a fractal programme - totally unique. I guess the poignant words come from your heart in view of your sad loss - I hope that time - and your art -will help to heal the pain a little.

An incredible fractal still life painting. Loss is hard to deal with and get beyond. But waiting for a return of the past is not an answer and is of little comfort. I lost a daughter and know how difficult is is.

Another astonishing image! Your fractal paintings are incredible. They must take huge amounts of time, and it is worth it, they're beautiful.

A beautiful representation of the eternal nature of love. The verse is poignant, but it's not what I see in your image. This is extraordinary, Maria. Truly. I love everything about it. Outstanding work.

Awesome candle and flame in this one, MAria. Love the woody textures, too. Ahh, but if the candle is WITHIN you, it WILL give you warmth because you'll see him again, ya know? Hang in there, Tex - memory is not always mourning...

So much has been said above about the superb quality of the image. I echo all. I see the candle as the best of the memories that will always light your heart.
