Description

heidelberg - 2005 (modified) a shot from a wonderful day with most wonderful people with lots of wonderful talks and wonderful pics and... yes - it was wonderful... :)))) thank you all folks... :) okay - a bit wonderful foggy - but gerhard had a wonderful idea... so i found this ancient pic on my DSLR... and printed it out a hundred years ago... that's why there are no cars... ;) a view from the philosophenweg to the ancient city of heidelberg... location: heidelberg, germany framing: well... a bit less this time... :) but: a bit more complex to create... :) --- next posting: FLYaway previous posting: squared colours oh - well... ranking is open - but: i'd like to get honest ones... so a honest "NICE" with a useful comment is more worth than an excellent what is not meant this way... ;)
thanks for stopping by and watching :) and of course - critics, thoughts, whatever are welcome - the more useful the better... ;) so don't hesitate to point out things which could be done better... thank you! -christian picture taken with canon 300D postwork/framing in Xara X1/PSP9/PSE3

It is in this historical city that Albert Hofmann discovered LSD in 1933... A fabulous shot, I love the PW that makes it look old, Great work and V

Great work, although I can see what your trying to achieve, but a little too much noise? or is that my monitor playing up again? Seriously great work, very well done.

Oh - how wonderful ;-) Really love the faded "ancient" touch. Tried to find some Japanese guys, but the probably only started visiting Heidelberg after you took that pic "way back then"...

Christian, this has such a melancholy look, like it is out of a precious family scrapbook. Just magnificent. You may put me in that mood by mentioning the name Gerhard, as that is one of the framily names of my lineage. So I have a sentimental connection. Lovely photo and presentation.

Oh wow, the Philosophenweg you say!? Must be some 25 years ago I was there, wasn't there a botanical garden or so? It's great to have to notice there are no cars to see this picture is so old (besides sepia etc.)! So little things have changed here! Excellent work!

Wirklich sehr gute Idee.
