Description
Poor Stella could not understand one word that the Petrified Pelican of Pistachio Promontory said, but she was pretty sure he was warning her that a duck should never again sail these unknown waters alone. lol!
More fun with Apophysis 2.02i(nsane). The duck, boat and ice(cream) berg is one single flame. The mast and sails is another, and one more for the petrified pelican. Post work in PSP consisted of adding the duck's eye and mirroring that small bit of skull on the pelican. Flaming Pear's flood filter for the water effect. Having way too much fun here! :)
Huge thanks to all of you for the thoughts and kindest words on "That Look of Surprise"... and for having a look at this bit of nonsense... ;) Hugs! Helen

A very creative and clever flame composition, Helen. The subtle Flood effect works nicely here. Beautiful gradient and superb lighting; a delightful and excellent piece of ApoArt!

A petrified pelican as an oracle..(!!)..I suppose its utterances would be automatically written in stone?..(!?!).... I revel in the look of rapt wonder on the duck's face..Delicious whimsey..meticulous craftsmanship....

I identify with the petrified pelican, frozen in place with antiquity and salt air. Terrific composition, your imagination is always delightful!
