Description

Thank you very much for your comments on "Villers Abbey (#1)" Villers Abbey's Hostelry This building was constructed in the 13th century to receive guests, providing food and warmth (from the large fire place) and lodging on the first floor. It bears witness to the obervance of the Rule of St Benedict, which commands that travellers and pilgrims be welcomed. When a new hostelry was built, the building was converted into a brewery. Picture coming directly from my camera (Nikon D70s); no postwork (except framing) Thank you very much Nathalie to teach me how to shot in difficult light conditions ! Take also a look at Nathalie's beautiful image inside the same building : "Villers Abbey I" !

Bon week-end Michel. Plein de gros bisous. V
