Dof, POV and textures ROCK, but I think the front claws need to be rotated, so they dig into the branch, otherwise the little may fall outta the tree ! Cheer's :o)

Great job, I think your too hard on yourself too. I don't see the branch as ugly at all. Creature model and texture is superb.
