Description

This is a piece I made for my website. The idea of the Triple Goddess is that every woman goes through three major phases in her life just like the waxing, full and waning moon. (From right to left) The Maiden, the Mother and the Crone - hence the Triple Goddess! I love this concept and have been reading more about it. I just wanted to express it as artwork. It is one concept of the triple goddess. I don't think there is enough difference between the virgin and the mother. Personally as an English speaker I prefer the change to be from left to right. If I didn't already know of the sacred three I would have assumed she was regenerating.

Love it! I agree that maybe the maiden to mother change should be a little more dramatic maybe but I think you did a very nice job. Merry Part Anita

Really like the concept, but have to agree the order is off. The Moon phase on the left is 1st Quarter, which is typically maiden. full Moon is of course mother, and the Moon phase on the right is Crone. Blessed be.
