Description
I Did this one as a bit of a departure from my usual more pedantic style.. I called it 'Further Along' before. It's like that old David Bowie track 'Ashes to Ashes'... i know someone with a dog called David Bowie.
Location: Piha beach, North Island, NZ
Surely the sound of ocean waves will drown the raucus air waves of a frantic world. But we have already had a flood.
What this lacks in clarity, i think it makes up for in composition... what do you think?
I have been working on a bunch of lino prints with this same theme (and colours) will post one tomorrow as an illustration and a more postworked version of this image to follow that...
