Two days ago I posted my first image of what I call a Dutch Sahara. This is a second one als showing the impressive amount of sand and just little vegetation. This photo is taken from the edge of the sand plain..

Love to enjoy the sands on the move, although they need some cultivation to keep them as sands (else they'll be overgrown by grasses, weeds and trees; the sands originally did not exist here, but in the 18th and 19th century many trees were cut down and the forest-soil was little by little exhausted due to the loss of essential minerals). Excellent work, Oskar!
