Description

Something different this time from me - photo-render combo. The background photo is from one of my favourite places, an old sunken road deep inside a forest ("Hammer Bakker"), close to where I live. Thought it looked like a good spot for a knight walking home :) Poser characters rendered in Vue with HDRI & radiosity lighting. 10 min render, 1 hr composing and fine-tuning the appearance in Photoshop. Sorry about the large image, and for the crappy layout - the bottom text was placed mainly to balance the picture a bit (didn't want to scale down the main picture). Comments welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Wonderful work. I love the poser characters, and they fit into the photo scene very well. The only thing that is sad is that they seem to lose a lot of detail in the finished image

Coooo...l :] The knight's feet don't seem quite set in the environment, those horse does though.. Maybe just the way it is though, even real photos can sometimes look 'fake' or 'not right' in some way heh. Excellent work in any case.

It's tough to combine 3D and a photo and have ti blend nicely. You did an excellent job of it.

WOW! This is incredible. You don't stop to surprise me. :) I am still not sure if the horse is real or 3D. However - huge vote for a brilliant work.
