Description

Series - Xtreme Design [19 ] Image title - The soap bubbles XenoDream I used to have lots of fun as a kid blowing huge soap bubbles [ up to 70 cm ] in diameter : it was always fascinating to observe the amazingly complicated and beautifully coloured interference patterns on the sizeable surface area of such a sphere ! In fact the bubbles were so large that they oscillated to and fro in 3 dimensions - also they would slowly sink to within a foot or so of the floor and then just stay there for 10-15 seconds until they inevitably burst into a fine spray of millions of miniscule droplets !

I used to do the same. me and my little sister would buy a pot of bubble stuff each from the garage at Polzeath and run down the beach letting the wind blow our bubbles for us!!! Wonderful days! Thanks for bringing it all back with your Soap Bubble image.
