Description

I found this Seagull in the High School parking lot one morning, and he was so facinated with this bag -- cars zinging by, didn't make him move or fly away. I thought for sure I'd be a witness to his calling. I snapped numerous pictures of him with this greasy ole bag, and felt I should get outta there before I saw him flattened. Not only would that have ruined his day, it would have ruined mine too. Have a great day .. and thank you for stopping by. Shari

This is a good one alright. Some old fries maybe, or fish and chips? Good eye for detail and the moment.

Shari, the part you didn't see was this little guy just bought a bag full of fish and chips at the local fast food place, and on his way home he was attacked by ruthless gulls much like the ones Margana described...the big ole ugly ones...You managed to capture the end results..this poor little gull wants to salvage what left in the bag. =( Very nice capture of the bad day this sad little gull is having..Kind of makes you feel sorry for the little critter. And I bet after you left...well...I won't get into that =(((( Have a nice day.

Maybe that was his lunch-bag Shari....jeeeez...you gotta understand that even seagulls cant study and focus on an empty stomach. I betcha that was filled with tasty worms before some stupid truck ran over it. What a beautiful capture by the way. That white gull really look gorgeous against that grey asfalt...asphalt...sigh...spellcheck please. Excellent crop as well. Another BRAVO-post from you! Have a wonderful day. #:O)...edited...cause while i wrote my comment it seems as if Ray also picked up on the lunch-bag...sigh....just ignore me will ya....nothing that i say make any sense anyway...mostly bla bla bla....siiiigh.

He doesn't look too thrilled that you also have your eye on his lunch. :-) Nice photo!

Must hve been some great smelling and tasting stuff in that paper bag. Gulls are pretty savvy, I'm sure this one made out okay. Perfect photo op. Great result.
