Description

On a divingtrip to Egypt on the beautiful Elphinstone reef we had 5 of these circling around us. One came towards me and I decided to take a picture of it. Somehow you get detached from reality when you take a pic coz I was only looking at the lcd-screen and waited for the shark to come within range. After taking the photo, I looked over my camera and only then realized that I had this shark turning away from me at just the very last possible moment (I could have touched it easily). Full of adrenaline we came back on the ship. Jacques Yves Cousteau once described the Oceanic Whitetip as "the most dangerous of all sharks".

LOL!!! I can definitly relate to what youre saying. When i went diving in Thailand i prayed for a shark to come along...and every time im out walking these swedish woods i find myself whisteling to attract bears, LOL. Anything to get a good shot right? Which this is by the way. Amazing capture!!! A once-in-a-lifetime-shot indeed!!! SCARYYYYY!!!! Have a wonderful day. #:O)
