Description

This is our very own "Courthouse" in Revelstoke BC. "Picture taken a couple weeks ago" Downtown Revelstoke (pop. 8,507) sits on a shelf of land above the confluence of the Columbia and Illecillewaet rivers. Founded in the 1880s, the town center retains a number of original storefronts and is pleasant to explore. You'll see plenty of coffeehouses, galleries, and some standout architectural jewels, like the domed Revelstoke Courthouse, 1123 Second St. W. Grizzly Plaza, near Victoria Road and Campbell Avenue. It's the site of the Saturday farmers' market, as well as free live music from July to Labour Day, Monday through Saturday from 7 to 10pm. Revelstoke has a lot to offer and is beautiful in many ways! Nice look with the tree in fall colours too. Don't forget about the really good Italian restraunt there in mid town. Wish I remembered the name. That is a quaint city with some nice heritage well kept.

Tr imposant ce biment ! Ca montre bien l'importance que l'on veut donner la loi ! J'adore la petite coupole bleu... fait effectivement tr kitch . Mais ce que je pre, c'est ce premier plan avec une branche rousse et lumineuse... Sublime ! Les couleurs de la Nature au Canada en automne sont vraiment uniques au monde ! Quel chance tu as Paul de vivre dans ce petit coin de Paradis !!! Tu ne veux pas m'adopter ????? Bon je suis un peu vieille mais.... c'est pour la bonne cause ;o))))) Gros gros bec et bonne soir !

Une belle journ ensoleill tu as eu Paul!:) On retrouve la couleur du feuillage de l'automne dans cette belle piode et j'aime bien le de tout en haut du biment.Bravo!

Brings back memories...I used to climb all over this building when I was a kid...this courhouse appears in the movie "Double Jeopardy" Excellent shot!
