Description

Smooth for Jessi was created by me. Arak (Jem'Hadar) for James (P6) was created by Marka. The commbadge jewelry was created by me. This is a test scene for the Fan Fiction Graphic Novel Star Trek: Deliverance.

Neat scene. Really good for a WIP. Just a few suggestions. She looks great, but I had to look pretty hard to see that it was someone carrying her. You might want to change the POV a little so it's easier to tell that the rest of the stuff in the scene is a second crewmember. You have a little poke-thru on the second crewmember's left arm. The thing I think most detracts, though, is the laser fire. The light coming out of her guns looks fantastic, but the laser beams being shot at them need to be more transparent and less uniform. Maybe use cylinders with transparency and a mixed color shader? Or, if you add them in post, you can blur them and decrease their opacity there. Can't wait to see the final image!

Thanks all - I really appreciate it. To answer a few things: The only post work is the light bursts from each gun. Everything else is Poser. The laser beams are primitive cylinders with alternate secular used. Physics speaking - Laser beams are uniform. It's coherent light polarized in the same direction. And high intense laser beams are not transparent.
