Description

I recently upgraded to LightWave 8.5 and since then, every time I load this model to work on, LightWave crashes. So this is as far as I got. I hope to get things sorted as soon as, so I can complete it. This is The Mitchell Library here in Glasgow. It is the largest reference library in Europe. Thank you for your time. Zeno

Aha! It was either my "SG_AmbOcc_Exp.p" or " ee_gritLITE310b.p" plugin shaders. It must be unstable for LW8.5 I loaded up my model in LW7.5 and got rid of those shaders. So hopefully the show can go on.

mother of all creatures big and small...this is beautiful!!! nice to see you didn't cheese out on the details too. would love to see this textured with some imageworld lighting! maybe a slight upshot to show a sky along with a feeling of massive height?

I have the "SG_AmbOcc.p" loaded on my rocket model (Cruising pic. two over to the left) and have had some instability with the animation file I set up for it. Oddly it started before I loaded 8.5 and even more oddly it seems to have settled down again now. Hope you get it loading again, looks terrific.

This is superb work oooZENOooo. I know how tedious it can be to model buildings so this illustrates that you're endowed with a lot of patience as well. Well in this caper we need all the pateince in the world don't we. Keep up the excellent work and maybe the world could be your oyster.

Very well done. The details are great and everything looks accurate.

Very nice mood evoked by the lighting. Modeling details are excellent. Why did you not set the camera to look up at the building to convey the massiveness of the structure? Looking down makes the building appear small. As usual, I admire your work, always a source of inspiration.

What a great piece of work. I feel your pain, I too have some projects that crash because of an upgrade to Lightwave 8.5.
