Description

T.King(c) Original Artwork "Mistwood". A special place deep within the enchanted Mistwood, East of the Great Eltir Falls. *** This scene was hand-splined entirely "piece-by-piece" using 3D Studio Max, with freehand painting in Photoshop, including hand painted textures. This image should be available as a 34"x24" poster before Christmas. ***

it's so awesome to see something from you, Tom! I was wondering what happened to you, but knowing your immense talent, you are more than busy creating wonderous things! This is absolutely amazing in deatil and your 2D work compliments your 3D work beautifully! You truly have the splines down to a science and I can only imagine how much effort went into this piece!! Stunning artwork, and it's great to see you back!!

.:story book material. i'd like to see more depth in the back behind the trees - more trees? something in the background? - suggestion - but otherwise don't listen to me, great work!:.

Thank you all for the kind words! As for the behind the tree's suggestion; behind the trees furthest away is a large lake, and a thick mist/fog over it. Otherwise, you'd be able to see the stretch of trees along the bank. (note: there really are a thicket of trees across the lake) This place is travelled to by small boat.
