Description

Hello all, Many thanks to everyone for the advice on lighting. In the end i just moved the position of the sun. It seemed to give the best results. Render time was 29 hours with Global Illumination ( sorry i forgot to say last time that i have Vue 5 Infinite). At least the Truck looks like it is on the ground this time...

is this a model you bought or did you model it? extreme quality and accuracy. the best chrome I have seen and by far the very best semi truck/trailer

I like it but heres a few suggestions.. The ground needs some work if you need a couple good links to some texture sites shoot me a PM. The side reflections in the chrome and truck look great but the front grill reflections show a empty plain. Fantastic improvement from the last one. And my computer would of caught on fire with that much reflective surfaces LOL.. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic materials on the truck, and the lighting is excellent. Agree with ibanezcollector about the ground. Shadows are nice this time.

Yes - nice improvement from the last one! It's amazing that all it required was to move the sun. Not gonna crit the textures - I took this as a lighting test all along, so details like that don't matter to me. And yeah, me too - sometimes I'll set up what seems like a simple scene with a couple of lights, and the render times jump up into the 60's or above!
