Description

Another visitor to my bird feeder, this time a Java Finch. These guys found my feeder and they came in bunches...all day long. In 4 days they ate 4 pounds of bird seed... Well I don't know about ate, these guys are picky eaters and threw seeds they didn't like out of the feeder. Sometimes feeding the birds is for the birds! Thanks for having a peek, and all your kind comments on my many posts...Aloha Ya'll~

LOL, I'm sure that I've bought a few tons of bird seed in my life, it's amazing how fast they go through it, and really, they only knock it out on the ground for the ground feeding birds, LOL!!!!! very cool image!!!!!**

An excellent photo. A bird I have never seen in real life. Too bad so much bird seed gets wasted on these guys.

Ha ha, the birds fed by the birds! :) Where's that remote control? Beautiful capture, as if it's looking down, 'hey, I dropped something, where is it now?' :)

All dressed up with nowhere to go.What a handsome bird. Looks like he should be in GQ. LOL. I'm laughing cause my birds back east do the same thing. Don't really mind though, cause it gives the mourning doves a chance to get something to eat. V

LOL "Feeding the birds is for the birds"!! LOL Man, this is great ... and you know what? When you said you placed feeders around your place, that inspired me to do the same. I hope to have just as much luck as you are ... what a beautiful bird this is .. I've never seen these flying around Minnesota.. where are you located? Also, I'd love to know what kind of seeds you are putting out .. anything special?? GREAT shot .. once again :)))

Everything about this photograph is excellent. I especially like the softness of the background and the birds expression. Thank you for sharing.

A very pretty bird! Your feeder seems to be bringing them in, but they're not very polite to leave such a mess for you to clean up :)
