Description

This is balboa lake in Van Nuys Calif. We have approx, 54 or so pelicans right now with some misty mornings. I am hoping for more. Last year there was a bird count of around 350 pelicans.(Pelicans in the mist) an earlier posting shows them resting on a small island at the wild life reserve.The pelicans travel back and forth from Sepulveda Basin Wild Life Reserve, and Balboa lake.I love it when they come and stay for part of march in the spring where there are over 1000 Cherry Blossom trees. LOL At first I thought those`were strange trees.Then I saw what the structure was.That must be some awesome looking place when the cherry trees are blossoming.Love the mist in this.And I love grain so this is just lovely to my eyes.Hope to see more of this place.Have a good night Georgia.-M :)

how do you find these places in van nuys i didnt eve know they had pelicans there..!! awesome postwork too love how its so soft and dreamy!!..WOW... my dad took me here for my 14th birthday and bought me skates!! and ..i lived on them and would skate this park amaazing ..you blow me away i lived here for almost two years and never saw what you find!!
