Description
I found this incredible beast, in the middle of the dutch dunes. It lives in the wild with a herd surrounding it. The photograph was taken very close to the animal, so I could use a standard lens.
Taken on Kodak Tri-X film, black and white.

Highland cattle. Amazing creatures they are. Look like "heavy-metal-cows" dont they? Like a perser-cow even, lol. They may look cute but are very unreliable and are considered more dangerous than your average cow...there...some lessons from farmboy...sigh...im soooooooo pathetic. Wonderful capture of that gorgeous animal! Have a great day. #:O)

As a child I always called them "fluffy cows". Which I guess there are really. Anyway, yeah, stubborn. They will sit in the road and nothing you can do will make them move until they're good and ready. Not point hitting them with your car, since the car would probably come off worse. This is a great photo, very nice work.
