Description
Palani hills, at an altitude of 1500-2000 metres, is an extension of the western range of mountains in South India. The hills are home to leopards, wild gaurs and a wide variety of birds and flora.
Long ago, I have climbed this particular hill, Perumalmalai. The view from the top is spectacular.

I always thought that trees on the top of a point like this are strange. I have seen identical scenes in the US. it seems as though they do not have their pants on. excellent capture
