Description

From rest awakening Nature stretches her bare arms. From crystalline azure heavens She spins and bows. Driving the winds Encircling, embracing this living Breathing planet, Our fragile dwelling. Strip not her mantle, for the scarred Earth heals so slowly. Rape not her pets, Nor extinct them for show. Neither stench her air or cloud her skies. Don't think her temperature, will not rise. Patience was learned in eons. Man's ruin measures in mere years. Defiled tears torrent will fall. Ruined ravaged arms will flail. Her wrath will thunder, then prevail. We strip, poison, rape, and slice, She will fight back with all her might. Oh Mother forgive us all, Can we repair your despair? You scream, you warn, You display tempestuous anger. Is it too late? For man to awake?

That's beautiful! Who wrote that? Maybe it wouldna hurt to have a few black-wings about! Oh, the picture's cool, too! :D The background reminds me of the show/movie "The Lost World," about the island that still had dinosaurs on it... and the poem reminds me of another "Lost World": Ours.

Wow! Powerful and awesome image - he looks really enraged! And a most beautiful poem as well - something to think about, but unfortunately so few will ever do it... :(
