A look down the Aviles Street towards the center of historic St. Augustine, with the building from Wednesday's gallery upload "Looking Down" just to the right. Aviles Street is one of the prettiest streets in the old city, with its cobblestone road, old buildings, and rampant natural growth. The straight photo was nice enough, but I wanted to experiment a bit and tried giving it a dreamy feel. Various filteres and layer adjustments were applied to achieve the effect you see here. The postwork is superb. Love the rays and starbursts - a visual treat. As for the quote, some say that reality is merely a crutch for those who can't handle inebriation. :)
