I like the still-life. Why choose colour and not your finely textured BW?

Wow! A beautiful picture and dedi! Thanks!

Such a gorgeous capture Egmont. I think you did the right think, keeping this colored. Looks absolutely perfect, especially with that thick white frame around it. You will come back when youre good and ready, RR will still be here. I think we all know how timeconsuming this little addiction can become, lol. Have a wonderful weekend. #:O) .....loved your e-book by the way....classy!!!

Digimon
This is NOT a criticism, more of a "Head-scratching". I have seen many others post photos of this particular plant, and it always seems that they boosted the red?!?! it does not look "Real". I am curious, did you adjust the saturation? I am not opposed to that, often I feel my camera doesn't capture the brilliance of some colors, the green of grass or the blue of sky, and I occasionally boost the saturation. Just curious.
Egmont
Dear Eric (Digimon), I actually had to desaturate the colour of the red because it was way to strong in the original capture. On a lot of images of mine that are not abstract, I end up desaturating in Hue/Saturation of Photoshop.

Hi Egmont, I love the colours and the composition of this picture very much, the red is great!

Thanks for the thoughts and the photo Egmont. You are an inspiration to many here by you dedication, craftmanship and creativity, but also by the fact that you are such a gosh darn nice person to know as well. Thanks for your's and Armonts concern for me and mine during our recent encounter with Hurricane Wilma. You are a prince among men. :) BTW, if that is desaturated, I can only imagine how vivid the original was. :)
