Description

Painter and Wacom tablet. Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. Sorry about the large image size, but I wanted the brushwork to show, as I work very large now and the brushwork tends to blur out when downsized (the height was originally 5000 pixels). I did this because I'm growing weary of people accusing me of cheating. I suppose I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does. To those of you who haven't doubted me since I started painting with a tablet (Thank you all!), I think you're aware that I have been improving a bit with practice. This one took a while, I stopped counting at 8 hrs. :) Here again is a link to copy and paste if you would like to see a step-by-step tutorial explaining my painting method: http://www.renderosity.com/tut.ez?Form.ViewPages=1007 Thanks for looking, John P.S. Sorry if I sound cranky, I've got conjunctivitis in my right eye (again) and it hurts like a b*tch even with the painkillers.

very extreme talent with a Wacom. I gave up on Wacom. I think mine is too small5x7 to be effective. I dislike the pen the most and even the larger tablets uses the same funky pen

When I see a work of art that catches my eye I usually look at other pictures in the artists galleries. Your talent is very obvious, but I was impresed by your ability to capture the feel and technique of the era when some of the people in your portraits lived. Most excellant

Great work of a beautiful subject. She was beautiful back in the 70's, and she's still beautiful now: She has a small role in an upcoming film about a "superhero high school" where she plays the principal, and she looks great.

O M G SH...... I thought this was a photo at first when I saw the thumbnail... Then I had to study it briefly to see that it wasn't actually a photograph. Supreme work! I love your gallery.

Your ability to create a likeness shines here. You've clearly developed skills in depicting skin and hair with realistic lighting as well!
