i like that you have attempted a rendering with bryce to make this picture, but the shadows look real wierd. i believe its some kind of light eminating from the objects(discettes and keyboard in particular) that is making the shadows light instead of dark. my tips would be to remove caustics or anything like that, that could reflect light more than real world objects does...

Hi RobinOberg, I know the "light-shadows" are not okay. There are three lights: the lamp and two round soft lights at the top of the computer. I tried to find out how it happens, I removed some objects and lights, but there was still the "light-shadow". When I did this picture, I used Bryce3 (now I'm using version 5). Only the discettes and the paper does reflect more light than in reality, but I did it knowingly.

Very nice but I think the cup lets it down a little.

Nice, does Commodore still make machines? I remember my long nights on th C-64....

Hi nucleus, The cup: I know that it looks not good. This image, I posted, is not the "final" rendering. I did this at one of that long Bryce nights and than I said "It's okay, it looks great, I make the inner negative cylinder in the cup a little bit bigger - and render it tomorrow new." I have only that first rendering here, cause I'm not online with my graphic workstation ;-)
