Description

Alien Virus Cell... Simple model I did to experiment with the interaction of G2 and FPrime. I'm also using DOF, edge transparency and Fast Fresnel. As well as my own secret mix of surface tricks =0P FPrime render no postwork.

Cool models and very nice lights and shadows. My only negative is: The cellural membrane of the cells looks to artificial, like there are some sort of nanoprobes:). Also do not confuse virus with cells, theyre like day and night. Many believe that virus arent even alive. I know these have nothing to do with lw, but hey! :)

Thanks Gents! Hey uir, You're right, I meant virus OR cell... but yes Nanoprobe would be a better discription. I did want the critter to have some sort of artifical, or engineered appearance. I like the overall silicon jelly look they have... could be an alien gummy bear....lol (Praise from you Z always means a lot)

Very cool. Kinda like a nanomachine viral cell or something. It also reminds me of the nanoelectronic drug "Accela" from Serial Experiments Lain.

It's funny how design seems to have come full circle... these remind me of arthropods from the Palaeozoic era, "trilobites". :o) Excellent!
