Description

Went up to Taos about 80 miles north of Santa Fe for the annual balloon fest..My first. Got out to the field about 6AM and the temperature about 32 degrees. It was an awesome sight..took well over 200 pictures in the two and a half hours the event took place. I will probably make a couple of collages so that I don't bore you with 200 balloon pics ,,,LOL..Todays pic I dedicate to my Renderosity daughter MAGGIEMAI. Some how or another, we developed a father daughter relationship here at RR. She's a fantastic young lady, and I'm mighty proud to know her. ENJOY TODAY

Wowwww!! :-))) This is Awesome!!! Thank you soooo much dear Dad!!! I just LOVE hot air balloons!! That was so nice of you to bring some home to me...hehehe Outstanding presentation! I just love the beautiful job you did on this. The balloon basket, with shadow, outside of the frame like that was done to perfection and PLUS you got the moon in there too? Simplicity is often amazing lol. This is a very nice photo and presentation. Colors, clarity, postwork all give just the right punch to the soaring balloons and the flight path leading to the moon is a very nice touch as is the lower balloon breaking the frame and adding to the depth of field. Love the drop shadow, lol. By the way, it is possible to do a drop shadow on black, you just need to change the shadow color, lol. I found out by experimenting today. Just something to think about, lol. Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Youre papa M&M??? Well there ya go...gotta love RR dont ya for bringing people together like that. Gorgeous work on this one. Was that moon for real? I dont think i ever saw a bluer (if that indeed is a real word..sigh) sky!!! And i love your classy white frame with that balloon sticking out of it with dropshadow and everything. Brilliant i tell ya!!! Im pretty sure baby M&M is mighty proud of you too. #:O)

Absolutely up My Street...been to 2 International Balloon Festivals, though they are not suited for Moon Travel... this be excellently done...and...Maggie is indeed a wee sweetie :]

It's really a brilliant photograph Ray ! What you took only 200 photographs during this demonstration ????? Lol ! I love this composition and the alignment of the 3 moons... of the 3 balloons... With an immaculate blue sky as this one that gives more an impression of height, at the first as at the second degree. With the moon in full day one really manages to have extraordinary photographs. I would like to make a flight in balloon it must be a great experiment. And to make air photograph, at the rate of travel of a balloon.... it must be imposing and very moving. But to have left the largest balloon out of your framework, it's a flash of genius and that made all the charm of your composition. Great Art, as you always accustomed us Ray. Bravissimo ;o)))))) V
