Description

I went to one of my favorite beaches today for a nice long walk, and I came across this????? Curiously I snuck up on it and took a few shots. Tedz, is this part of the Mother Ship???? Kind- a had that feeling to me... This thing was huge! and heavy metal too... LOL!!!!! any ideas what this could be???? It was about 4 ft tall...

Looks like some type of long line fishing float, or possible part of a buoy! Would make a lovely lawn ornament...Beautiful shot of a long and soothing beach...mind candy for me! Aloha!

I think Daves onto something. A giants fishing float indeed....can ya imagine the size of the fishes he reeled in!!!! Amazing find Akemi...and amazing sky! I wouldnt mind taking a walk along a beach like that in those conditions. Last time i was in Thailand i used to take a run on a beach that was 2 miles long every morning....quite lovely actually...i used to have like 10 stray dogs running beside me as company...so sweet. Bla bla bla....BREAKFAST-TIME!!! See ya later!!! Enjoy your sunday. #:O)

Ha, ha. We both had the same idea of a strange beach shot today! I think this is part of a buoy but I don't really know. It's a nice surrealistic photo though.

It looks like a underwater mine from the pictures that I have seen of them. I may be wrong I hope so. I do not know where you live but you might check with the locals there to see if there was any under minning during the last war.

A beautiful scene. This object is interesting. I'm not sure what it is, but let's hope it is not a mine/bomb. Might have to call the local authorities to check it out.

I think it's either a marker bouy that broke loose during a storm or a bouy that boats tie up to in deeper water..excellent pic and POV..

Very interesting!! I believe it's a fishing item of some sort. If it were a mine, I am sure there would be some sort of flurry in the area about it. Don't you think?

If it's heavy, would it make a good buoy or float? Anyway, it is an interesting thing. The sky is awesome!

you see the broken cables attatched? This once was on the ocean floor to keep cables from floating to the surface. Recent storms and hurricanes snapped the cables and rolled this ball&chain up to the shore during high tide...
