very abstract Terragen and a fine job. I think people that are homeless through bad luck and hard breaks should be able to have a chance to recover. there are many on the street because that is the life they choose and many that have mental problems. An old women basically stays all day on a bus bench in front of a 7-11 that I frequent no matter rain or shine. when people give her money she heads for the store to buy cigarettes. she obviously has a mental issue but the government can not put everyone that is border line mentally ill in the hospitals. Many that are panhandling are much younger than I and they do not want a chance to work. giving them money is encouragement to continue in that life style. I have been totally broke and basically without shelter when I was young and never once asked for a handout no matter how hungry I was

I'm sorry for your situation, Lynn, and I do know it could happen to any of us. I hope and pray it gets better for you and others who suffer. This is a beautiful moodpiece.
