Description

Well, here is the first installment of Kitty's new face.. I've started it from scratch and used some photo reference piccys, and the only merchant resources I used was for the eyes, lashes,brows and inner mouth. I havent touched the neck area yet, so Im yet to tackle the seam saga. And a huge accomplishment for me is that there is not a tutorial in sight... Im kinda proud of this.. Some touch up around the ears for blending, a bit of work on the lashes, a little clean up on the right cheek, and I think the face is about done.... but for now.. I need a break, lol..

Quite good, I like the face. A little too smooth on the sides of the head, and a little too red in the eye-corners, but quite believable. Good presentation, too, with the 'global' lighting we need to see everything - warts and all! I rather like the nose-and-eyes area, that 'T' that so many people try to smooth out to nothing.

Its good to see you are pushing the threshold and going to the next level in skin textures, to get the seems correct you may have to use a 3d painter.
