Wow!!!! Is the grass an external 3d object of your choice loaded into terragen or is it TGD internal object? And how much does it prolong the render time?

I don't really like the blurring, and the sky looks pretty "vue" like, not in a good way. The foreground grass, however, looks fantastic. It's very exciting to see this image for what TGD can do. I'm also interested in Absinthe's questions. Sacha

The grass was an external object loaded in TGD and layered using the populator shader. Matt is still working on optimising the render times. So until thats done render times will not be stated in any TGD images. Having said that, it's not as long as what you might think. =)

Just a bit more sharpness to the distant mountain; and, you would have a near photorealistic image. The work here is a great example of what the future holds for us. Thank you for sharing.

Lovely image. Great green landscape in the foreground. However, I agree with chornor, a little less of gaussian blur of the mountains in th PS would have been better. It is still a great piece of work.

The vegetation is just plain awesome! I, too, would prefer less blur in the bg.

VERY realistic, but in the sense that it looks like a TV studio set against a large photo backdrop. Very cool work!

Is that sky for real!?! Not extremely crazy about the uniform color of the grass (a little variation in tint would be impossible, but awesome), but I love that sky :). Just a little less blur next time. A mouth-watering TGD preview nonetheless.
