Description

Talmoor had never held a standing army. As a simple crossroad of trading routes, it had never needed one. Farmers and merchants lived here. Their defenses met by the continual stream of caravans, no one land would dare lay claim to it for fear of retribution from the other lands or the merchant guilds. Nestled in the valley between the Dirge and Pallosten mountain ranges, Talmoor had long lay claim to its independence and peaceful existence. Until Galidia the Reaper moved in. In a forgotten keep, on the fringes of the Dirge mountains, she had rediscovered the dark and forbidden art of necromancy. Long years she spent in seclusion, studying and growing in power. Slowly, and unnoticed she amassed an army of the dead. When this dread force moved into the world, the town of Talmoor stood first in it
