Description

It's a short football season for 6th graders; here is Ben at his last game. It was an early morning game; and the early morning sun made for great lighting! This shot was taken with my 300mm -- fully extended. Loved the look on his face ... played with hue and contrast as well as saturation to give it the color that it is. Secretly, I'm glad his season is over .. he was covered in bruises ... being the great little tackler that he is....... he sure gave it his all. The kid may be small, but my gawd, is he STRONG! (He nearly kills me when he hugs me goodnight *LOL*) Have a wonderful Day ... and thank you for stopping by. :)) Shari

Great pic/portrait..that will be one you'll charish for a long time and pass on to Ben when he's older and he'll appreciate it, having a cool pic from his past. #42 was my number back in my college days. Yeah, I graduated with Fred Flintstone. I hope you get to enjoy your birthday present abunch..

I once worked as a football camp nurse for boys 8 to 18 years old. The big draw was that it featured tackle. You can't imagine all the injuries I had to treat, was never much of a football fan after that experience. I'm glad the season is over too. Great capture of Ben's facial expression.
