Description

No idea how she got on the Web with all that metal all around. Maybe she's working 'off-line'. I haven't posted recently, so here's something to get back in the swing of things. Wanted something with rust. The color of the standard Bryce rust is awesome. Been learning and experimenting with CAD software. All objects in the image were created with SolidWorks except for the female and a few primatives. No postwork. Thanks for looking!

Now this is what I'm looking for. Yeah, I like the rust too. But using the same material all over the background like you do, it sort of looks like camouflage paint. A little more variation in the pattern should do it. And perhaps the bumps could go deeper. Other than that, it looks a lot like what I'm trying to do. Cool!

Very well modeled and a great sense of scale. As Lufra mentioned, a little more variation of the metals wouldnt go a miss. excellent done though.

That is true, it does rather becomes like camo. Didn't notice that until now. Thanks for the observation!

I agree with all the above this is an excellent scene. As far as the camo look well just change the sizing and angle of the matting on different object so not such a regular looking pattern. My question to you is the lighting... How did you get such strong lighting on your figure creating those greate shadows and hilights with out it overpowering the rest of this piece??? Excellent work of art
