Description
Was quit busy these last weeks, so I had only time to do some new renders of my last model. The render is very close to some photography from the internet. The trees in the background are a blured picture. The DOF is the only post-work in photoshop.
Thanks for viewing

My only critique is that the leaf looks doubled. Other than that it's a very fine piece of work.

I agree! I enjoy seeing you tackle such a natural subject...I suspect it is more difficult.

I think this is wonderful! - but, as mentioned above, the leafs 'duality' lets the illusion down! - might be an idea to add some motion blur to the flying bugs wings too!? - quality work in every other respect though! :)

The leaf is a simple plane with an Alpha-Map-Texture. I wanted to give the leaf a little thickness without modeding it with every detail. The motion blur is a very good hint, kromekat. I'll try that out. Thank you for you comments so far. I agree with all of you that my leaf needs more working.

Cool image! My question is: Is this a romantic scene or is a battle about to happen? :)
